Cute Close Ups
Garden of the Gods
While in Colorado, we visited a park known as Garden of the Gods. It is made up of many natural rock formations that are estimated to be about 300 years old. The weather was a little cool for a late June afternoon, but we all had a great time on the family outing.

This one is called Kissing Camels

Falling Rocks - ok, so they aren't really falling, but it makes a great picture!

First Trip to the Zoo
While at the beach, we were able to enjoy a visit to ZooWorld.
The kids with Rai-rai

Edward and Mommy feeding the giraffe

Silly goats!

These are the 4 different colorings of Bengal tigers at the Zoo's Tiger Show.

Standing Tigers

If you thought Edward was big for a 15 month old, check out this white tiger who is Edward's age, but she is a mere 350 pounds. :)

Back to the Beach!
In late May, Curi and the kids took another trip to the beach. This time we got to stay a week and mommy's friend, Leslie, came along, too.

We love the ocean!

No, I'll deal this one!

Playing in the pool on the deck

"Aunt" Leslie trying to help Edward with his bib!

Heavy load for a hike on the beach!

Bailey's new bandana dress from Rai-rai.

Wedding Festivities

Both the wedding and reception were held at the Salish Lodge and Spa, Snoqualmie, WA, just outside of Seattle. The lodge overlooks the falls and you can see it in the background. What a perfect spot for a wedding!

Are we seeing double? No - it is Ken with long time friends, Michael and David, celebrating Dave's big day!

Visit to Seattle, WA
Our friends, David and Cathy, got married out in Seattle, WA. We were able to make a long weekend of the trip and took in some sights while we were there.

The Famous Space Needle

View from the top of the Needle

Ken, or is it Usher? HA! This is one of the many things to see in the EMP - Experience the Music Project in downtown. It is also adjacent to the Science Fiction Museum so we were able to see a lot.
