Braves Game!

Before the kids started school, and as a special outing especially before Bailey started kindergarten, we got a babysitter for Nora and surprised the kids with a trip to the Braves game followed by the Friday night fireworks.  Though it was a late night and the Braves lost, we had a really fun time!

Kelsey's 1st Trip to Atlanta

Kim, Kelsey and Rusty stopped in for a visit on their way to Florida and were able to stay a couple of days. We enjoyed trips to the Zoo (of course!) and also to the Atlanta Children's Museum (another favorite.) And yes, these pictures have been on the Willhoite blog for quite sometime now... about 6 months to be exact, but we are getting there!

Trying to get a picture in front of the panda statue.

Kelsey was a big fan of the watermelon.

Day After the Wedding in NY

Here are a couple of shots the day after the wedding before we left for ATL.

Nora and Grandpa are hanging out... Not sure what is going on, but they are both having LOTS of fun!

We couldn't fly all the way to NY and not see my cousin Rod. He lives in NYC within walking distance of the USS Intrepid battleship.

JoAnna and Shawn's Wedding - Long Island, NY

We had a wonderful trip to Long Island, NY for the 4th of July weekend to celebrate the marriage of cousin JoAnna Newburn to Shawn Greene. We were also fortunate to see Grandma and Grandpa Ahrens who flew in from California.

Nora was excited to have us to herself all weekend. We appreciated the parent/child ratio.
