Trip to the Christmas Tree Farm

Neighbor friends!

Several friends from the neighborhood treated me to a great dinner at a Japanese steakhouse that was also in honor of Baby Ahrens. We feel very blessed to have so many people to share in the celebration of our precious baby-to-be.

My sweet friend, Leslie, treated me to an afternoon of tea and girlfriends in honor of the upcoming addition to our family. The food was yummy and it was fun to celebrate with everyone. Thanks for all of the great baby supplies!

Big Sister and Big Brother!!!

Over the weekend, the kids participated in a sibling preparation class sponsored by the Women's Center at the hospital where we will have the baby (and where Bailey and Edward were born!)

The nurse was Ms. Pam and she was great! She went around the room and talked to each of the siblings and when she got to Edward and Bailey she asked them what mommy was having and Edward shouted out "a baby" and was so proud of himself! Of course she meant girl/boy and we don't know, but it was adorable!!!

They are great students!

First on the list is diapering!

Next, swaddling...

Bailey is telling Edward that he is holding the baby face down when he should be holding it face up. This was right after he cracked the baby doll's head on the table so we will have to watch that one!
