Kids in a Box!

After Christmas, we went to visit the Schuberts... apparently the favorite gift was the large packing box. All four kids crammed in and as you can see, didn't even get out to eat their snacks! (L-R: Bailey, Oliver, Marin, Edward)

Christmas Morning

We had a really nice time on Christmas morning! Santa stopped here and we were also blessed with lots of presents from friends and family so the kids had a ball! Taking the idea from Aunt Brooke, I made a video of all the Christmas pics so you could see without scrolling down for days. (:

We braved the mall crowd with the Zimmermans to see Santa... It ended up being not too bad and the kids had a ball so all was well.

Gingerbread House

Ken decided to be extra festive this year and he made a gingerbread house using graham crackers and homemade royal icing, plus the candy for decorations. It was great!!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

We enjoyed celebrating Christmas at our house with Rai-Rai, Mimi, Pop, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Pace, and Cousin Camden. While everyone was in town, Mimi taught Bailey and Edward how to sign "Happy Birthday Jesus." So sweet! (Bailey does jump right into asking about presents after it is over, but that's ok!)

Several friends from the neighborhood treated me to a great dinner at a Japanese steakhouse that was also in honor of Baby Ahrens. We feel very blessed to have so many people to share in the celebration of our precious baby-to-be.
